Limited Mobility
If you have limited mobility and need assistance to make your way through the terminal, onto and off the plane, and/or help with your luggage, please contact your airline prior to your arrival at the airport. They will ensure that someone is available to help you and/or that a wheelchair is available for you.
If you need an escort to assist you to the boarding gate, please contact your airline for more information and to make the necessary arrangements.
Parking
Specific spaces on both the arrivals and departures curbs are reserved for drivers who possess a handicapped parking permit and who need to leave their car unattended temporarily (no more than 20 minutes).
For those drivers who may not have the necessary permit, but are driving passengers to the airport who require assistance getting into the terminal or on their flight, we invite you to make prior arrangements with the Ground Transportation and Parking office at 613-248-2075 ext. 2, 613-248-2000 ext. 1197 or with your airline.

Car Rental
Car rental companies are conveniently located in the Parkade, across the street from the passenger terminal building. A limited number of accessible vehicles that can accommodate wheelchairs and are fitted with hand controls are available for rent. Customers are asked to make arrangements at least 48 hours in advance with their car rental agency.

Hearing/Visual impairments
For the hearing impaired, TTY phones are located throughout the terminal and electronic signs display flight information and emergency notices.
The airport is fitted with special features including tile patterns and specially textured flooring that assist people with visual impairments. Elevators are equipped with Braille and voice announcements.
Service Animals
Service animals are permitted in the airport; owners can take their dogs for toileting across the street from the terminal to the designated grassed area at the south end in front of the Parkade.
